Rochella’s Ginger Immunity Shot Recipe
Ingredients: Ginger, Turmeric, Lemon and Raw Honey, and filtered water
You will need:
A fresh ginger root: peeled or left with the skin. I usually use 1 or 2 whole pieces of ginger. The more ginger, the stronger the flavor will be. If you want a mild flavor, use a smaller size.
Whole organic lemon, with skin
½ TBSP organic turmeric powder *You can use raw turmeric root and juice it out.
2 TBSP raw honey, buy locally
5 cups of filtered water, add more if it tastes too strong for you. *I like strong flavors.
Direction:
Put all the ingredients into a blender. *Vitamix is the best). Blend together, then pour through the flour towel into a bowl. Squeeze the flour towel to make the liquid come out. Discard the pulps. OR use an extracting machine to juice the lemon and ginger, then add the remaining ingredients. Storage in a mason glass jar in the refrigerator Take a shot daily in the morning on an empty stomach.
